Winnie Valencia graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Western Australia. Since graduating, Winnie has worked at a variety of places. She has worked extensively with children of physical disabilities at Grandview Children’s Centre and is currently with the Children’s Treatment Network of Simcoe York. From 2002-2006 Winnie worked in private practice orthopaedics. During this time she completed Levels 1, 2&3 in Manual Therapy. Orthopaedic Division through the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. After taking a break from her studies to focus on her kids, she resumed her post-graduate education with a focus in osteopathy. Winnie is trained in Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation and is in the process of completing her Neuromeningeal courses.
In practice, Winnie focuses on providing quality manual therapy, education and exercise prescription to enable people to achieve and maintain their optimal health.
