Hanna Woods, BA, MACP, RP(Q)
Psychotherapist
Hello my name is Hanna Woods and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Guelph. As a therapist, my passion lies in helping clients lead balanced, meaningful lives. I strive to ensure individuals feel safe, supported and heard by providing an empathetic and non-judgmental environment.
I am committed to providing a collaborative, individualized approach that honours each person’s unique needs and experiences. By working together with clients, I aim to empower them to navigate life’s obstacles, develop healthier coping mechanisms, and find greater fulfillment. My goal is to support each person’s journey toward emotional wellness and lasting, positive change. I have a special interest in working with anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem and ADHD. I also have a strong background working with youth/teens and am passionate about helping them navigate many of the unique challenges they face in their early adulthood.
As a therapist, I prioritize a collaborative approach where we will work together towards achieving your desired goals. I often draw from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and strength-based approaches as I believe in the importance of empowering clients and reinforcing strengths to create positive change. I recognize that each client has their own individual needs and am here to support you on your journey towards fulfillment.
