Cindy Salopek, Registered Physiotherapist

Cindy is a Registered Physiotherapist and holds a professional degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor degree in biology from the University of Guelph. She has over 18 years experience in orthopedics and sports medicine, including recreational, varsity and amateur athletes.

Cindy was a member of the paramedical staff for the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team for 12 years and in her early profession, Harvard Varsity, primarily in track and field. She enjoyed a period of teaching within the Nursing program at Seneca college. This demonstrated the power of knowledge in engagement, thus emphasizing the influence of individual education in body wellness.

Her interest in the model of Biomechanical balance has lead to further study of the body’s controlling systems, including visceral manipulation, cranial sacral therapy and orthotic management.  Cindy is currently directing the physiotherapy program at King West Wellness Centre.
