Oksana is originally from Odessa, Ukraine where she attended Odessa State Medical University in 1996. After graduating, she completed her residency and worked as a Neurologist in the Neurological Department of Odessa Municipal Hospital.
Oksana then moved to Canada with her family and decided to continue her career as a nurse. Initially, she provided nursing care on the Continued Care Department at Mackenzie Health Hospital and then specialized as a Wound Care Nurse and finally a became a Nurse Educator for SRT MedStaff, (one of the largest nursing agencies in the Greater Toronto Area). While taking care of high-risk patients with Diabetes, Peripheral Vascular pathologies, lower extremity wounds and foot ulcerations, she discovered her interest in Foot Biomechanics and Pathologies. Specifically, she was most interested in Diabetic and High Risk Patient Foot care. Inspired, she attended Michener Institute of Applied Arts and graduated from the Chiropody Program, which she graduated from in 2014.
Oksana successfully operates her own practice helping to keep neighbourhood walking with healthy feet.
